What Does Success mean to You?

What Does Success Mean to You?

There are so many definitions around the word success that I feel that this word has become extremely overused. The traditional understanding associated with success, refers to how much money someone earns or how much wealth they have managed to accumulate.

I have tried life both with and without wealth and definitely find the former to be more desirable. However wealth in the absence of family, friends, health or happiness is pointless.

The Secret I want you to uncover is how to gain great abundance, but not at the expense of your emotional or physical wealth. We must find a way to reach our financial and career goals without making our relationships with our children or spouses the sacrificial lambs.

You must find the way to realizing all your goals around financial abundance without sacrificing the the other areas of our lives at the same time. There is not a person alive that would not give every cent they own to regain their good health when they are diagnosed with terminal disease. The same is also true for those individuals that have lost the love of their spouse or children as a result of their eagerness to pursue financial gain or material riches.

Financial success achieved at the expense of the rest of your life is empty and pointless

Don’t become one of those people that are so busy pursuing wealth that you loose sight of what your True Life Purpose or True Life passion is. When you do this you miss out on languishing in the joys that life has to offer. Remember that living every day of your life to the best of your ability. Makes the journey through life worthwhile. It is crucial to create a successful and fulfilling harmonious balance in all areas of your life.

Let us try to do a little exercise that will help you to uncover your True Life Passion. The easiest way to get great results with very little sweat is to simply sit and imagine yourself at the end of your life. What actions, people or things would you like to have done more or less of?
What would you have liked to have done more of?

Andrew is one of the most informative and entertaining conference speakers that will show you how to use this tool to your advantage. Wow isn’t it amazing, after completing this exercise you have created a deep awareness about what you want and what is possible for you to create in your life. You are looking back on a life well lived, but you still have the rest of your life to live.

What a powerful place to be. Why waste another minute doing things that you will regret later and more importantly why are you not doing more of what you love doing. Live every moment that life offers you. Live on purpose and mostly, just love the journey and LIVE.

Life is a series of trade offs and every wasted moment is spent forever. Time and therefore your life are traded for the things you choose to do or not to do. You have an incredible privilege right now, that privilege is awareness. Use that awareness to create the life of your dreams and have no regrets about what you did with your precious life and your most valuable asset – your time.

You have had the benefit of imagining yourself at the end of your life. You do not need to have any regrets about having the ability to go back in time to change things. You are in the NOW and can create things exactly the way you want them to be. Make those different decisions right now that you would have wished you could have made if you really were at the end of your life.

Conference Speakers - Planning for Total Success

Success can be incredibly elusive or it can come in abundance, if you are willing to develop the right mindset and habit set. I want you to develop a plan to create abundance in all facets of your life.

The first step in this process is to start to uncover the awesome power that resides within you and learn how to tap into this power. Right now is the time to uncover what will have to happen for you to feel that you have achieved success in your life. What one thing, five things or ten things will have to happen to make you feel that you have attained success?
Define success and what that means for you specifically. What will have to happen in each area of your life to make you feel that you have attained success?

Example:
I have a found my Soul Mate and we live for each other.
I have discovered the path to enlightenment and live every moment in harmony with my True Life Purpose.
I create hope and inspire thousands of people every year.
I have attained financial independence and have a net worth of R 1000 000 000.00.

The truth Is, you create your own circumstances and reality

Almost everyone that achieves success in their lives, which I define as fulfillment in all areas of their lives, will face difficulties along the way. The trick to living your dreams is not to get sucked into the incorrect idea that the difficulties themselves are the deciding factor in determining your destiny.

If challenges and obstacles were the deciding factor in how everyone’s lives turned out then no one would attain success. The only difference between successful people and those that settle for mediocrity is that the former see challenges as things to overcome on their way to success and the latter see them as reasons not to even try.

Create The Life Of Your Dreams, One Goal at a Time

Create The Life Of Your Dreams, One Goal At A Time

Inspirational Speakers

It takes as much energy to set a large goal that will stretch you, as it does to set a very small goal that does not challenge you at all.  When you set worthwhile goals they should feel a little daunting and require a stretch to achieve.  An effectively set goal is one that clearly states the goal, why it is important and how you intend to achieve it.

Clearly State your Goal—In Writing

Very few people ever clearly state their goals and then they wonder why they never achieve their full potential, why is that?  By following and applying, note I said applying these simple principles below you will most certainly realize all your goals and dreams.  The first thing you need to do is create a clear vision in writing of what it will look like when you get to your destination.

Andrew is one of the most informative and entertaining inspirational speakers in South Africa, he will show you that if you got on board a plane and the Captain’s voice came over the intercom. “Good morning, this is your Captain speaking, welcome aboard flight 231 or is it 321 or maybe 123, I’m not really sure.   I have no idea how much fuel we have on board, it doesn’t really matter what the weather is like today and I have no idea how long the flight will last as I have absolutely no idea where we are going”.   I don’t know about you but I am getting off that plane as quickly as possible.  What amazes me is that we would run off that flight, but we are content to fly through our own journey of life with a pilot exactly like the one in the example above.

It is now time to stop acting like that really scary pilot and clearly define where you want to go and how you want to get there.  If you are working according to your life’s purpose and you have a positive motive for action you will always find the energy to do what is necessary, rather than what is comfortable to achieve your goals.

You can lose material things, but you can never lose your mastery – what you learn and who you become in the process of achieving your goals.

Andrew is one of those Inspirational Speakers that will show you that When you create a vivid picture in your mind of exactly what you want to achieve in and with your life, you have something to aim for.  The clearer the picture that you create in your mind, the easier the journey to get you there will be and the more determined and single minded you will be, when you are faced with any challenges or barriers.

To illustrate: Florence Chadwick was the first woman to swim the English Channel in both directions.  She decided next to swim the Catalina Channel, a 21-mile stretch of ocean between Catalina Island and the coast of California.  She attempted the swim first on July 4, 1952, with millions of people watching on national TV.
Because the fog was so dense and she was unable to see shore, her stamina waned and she asked to be pulled out of the frigid water, in spite of her mother’s and her trainer’s encouragement.  When she pulled out, she found that she had given up less than one and a half kilometers from shore.  She reported later, “Look, I’m not excusing myself, but if I could have seen land I might have made it.”  She made the swim again two months later, becoming the first woman to swim the Catalina Channel.

Inspirational Speakers - Don’t forget to dream really big -

First decide who or what you want to be and then set challenging goals to lead you toward realizing your dreams.  Your self imposed comfort zone, limits your thinking, and stops you from realizing your full potential and in many cases stops you in your tracks and prevents you from even starting toward living your dreams.
To move you in the direction of creating those compelling, challenging and exciting goals, you need to have a clear vision statement and be driven to succeed.

You need:

to eliminate those habits and beliefs that are bogging you down and holding you from living your bliss.
to learn to dream those big dreams that you had as a child.  It is never too late to have an amazing childhood.
Begin this process by visualizing your ideal life in all areas, namely, financial, career/business, Family time, health, relationships, personal and community.  You can use this as starting point to develop your specific and time constrained goals.  Another handy tool to use to refine this process is to take a piece of paper and write down at least 100 things you would like to have, 100 things you would like to do and 100 things you would like to be.  If you cant come up with 100 that is perfectly ok, the purpose of the exercise is to get your brain to really stretch itself and come up with the most weird and wonderful ideas.

Once we have completed this exercise you will have a wonderful base to help you identify your breakthrough goal or banner goal. This is the one goal that will catapult you toward living your bliss, the one goal that when you achieve it will change your life forever.  Once you have identified your breakthrough or banner goal, try to choose a reasonable number of other goals that you are going to devote all your energy toward achieving.

Once you have refined all your goals always remember that your breakthrough goal deserves special attention and you must try to devote sufficient time each day to realizing this crucial dream.
